Star of the MTC hit production “My Brilliant Career” and SIX the Musical, Kala Gare (Â鶹´«Ã½ Class of 2014) returned to school for the 2025 International Women’s Day Breakfast. Interviewed by a student panel, Kala discussed her journey from Â鶹´«Ã½ to the stage, following your passion and celebrating the highs when balancing the lows that can come with a career in the performing arts. Kala then had the audience on their feet in a standing ovation when she sang, demonstrating her incredible voice, commanding stage presence and love of performing.
